What follows is a hilarious and heartwarming story of a man who is woefully unprepared for success but who somehow manages to achieve it through sheer force of will. Along the way, we are treated to some of Ferrell’s best comedic moments as he blunders his way through every obstacle.

In addition to being one of Ferrell’s funniest movies, Semi-Pro is also one of his most underrated. It may not be as flashy or over-the-top as some of his other work but it is a perfectly crafted comedy that showcases everything that makes Ferrell great.
